Keep it open, keep it simple, keep it for all of us.

4. How tricount.com, iOS and Android Apps meet accessibility guidelines

We’re happy to report:

As a result, using tricount.com you can:

  • Zoom in and out with no problem;

  • Navigate using just your keyboard;

  • Use modern screen readers and voice recognition software;

  • Access legal documents in accessible PDF and/or HTML format.

And, using tricount iOS and Android Apps you can:

  • Increase the size of text and buttons using iOS and Android native accessibility features in your phone settings;

  • Navigate using just your on-screen keyboard;

  • Use modern screen readers and voice recognition software.

But we’re not stopping there.

5. How do we move forward for even better accessibility of tricount.com, iOS and Android app

We’ve also looked beyond the tricount.com website and the apps.

  • Our user support experience (like tickets and formal complaints) were assessed as a part of bunq audit for user support, to make sure they are just as accessible when things don’t go as planned;

  • In Q3 2025 we expect to implement the fully accessible user support experience.

6. How we keep accessibility a part of everything we do

At bunq and tricount, accessibility isn’t an afterthought - it’s part of the design. That’s why we build with "accessibility by design" as our guiding principle. Every element of tricount.com, the iOS and Android Apps - content, code, and communication - is built with inclusiveness from the ground up.

Here’s how we keep accessibility alive over time:

  • Starting Q1 2026, we’ll perform annual internal audits to ensure both the technical side and the way we govern accessibility continue to meet high standards;

  • Continuous quality checks – We’re implementing Accessibility Quality Assurance Process to run ongoing automated accessibility scans. That way, we can spot and fix issues fast - before you ever notice them.

Our journey toward full accessibility is ongoing, and we're committed to improving with each step. We’re building a digital banking experience that works for everyone - and that means everyone.

Footnotes

  1. Digitaal Toegankelijk performed a full audit of tricount.com, iOS and Android apps, in April and May 2025. They audited our website using the WCAG-EM methodology, based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA - the European gold standard for digital accessibility. Using sample checks, our partner identified where we could do better - especially around keyboard navigation and ARIA labels (used by screen readers), as well as usability of screen readers, and voice over.
    Our website, iOS and Android Dev Teams have since been working through these findings to improve user’s experience across the site.

  2. We are experiencing a delay with launching all the iOS and Android Apps fixes. We are expecting to have the accessibility fixes live by 31/08/2025..
