With Tricount, you can share group expenses amongst your
friends! During or after a group activity, it is often necessary to
do some accounting.
With Tricount, you can easily figure out how much
everyone owes or is owed.

Yes. In order to come back to your tricount, you need the
access-URL. It can be found under the "Share" tab. You can either
cut-and-paste it or
send it direcly by email (see "Share" tab).
Make
sure you have this URL properly saved before leaving your
tricount.

By default, Tricount considers that everyone is involved in an
expense. To remove somebody, click on his/her name.
Click on the "details" button in the edition page of the expense.
For instance, let's consider 4 roomates willing to use Tricount in
their appartement. The rent is 1250 USD and is paid by one person.
But everyone
does not pay the same rent. Alex has to pay 400, Brian
350, Julia 280 and Thomas 220. They have to click on "details" and
use these amounts as the
numbers of parts ("280" in the small box
beside "Julia", "350" in the small box beside "Brian",...). This way
the rent (the expense) will be
distributed properly by the system.
Make sure that you have copied the link correctly from the
email. If you still have this problem, it's possible that this
tricount has never
existed or has been automatically deleted after 3
months of inactivity.
You cannot delete a tricount which is on tricount.com. Such a tricount will be automatically
deleted after 3 months of inactivity.
Not with a login and password. That's what makes Tricount so
easy! To access a tricount, you just need to know the special link
that contains a
random query string that is almost impossible to
guess. This link is usually sent by email by a member of the group.
Users will only need to identify
themselves in order to communicate
with the group and report expenses.
Nothing other than what is written! When you give Tricount your
email address to share the tricounts, Tricount will only use this
email address
to send you links via email. This address will not be
saved in a database.
Your personal tricount can only be accessed by those who have
the access URL.
Please contact us, and give us as much detail as possible so
that we can correct the problem as soon as possible. Tricount is in
a
beta phase and
we are counting on the understanding of our users
for
these first few weeks. If the application is not yet perfect to
your
eyes, please tell us why! We
appreciate all feedback which we
can use
to improve Tricount to meet your expectations.

The method in which people pay back their friends happens in a
sort of triangular manner. For example, if John owes Katie 10 euros
and Katie
owes Fred 10 euros, then John can pay Fred directly, and
everyone is even. Tricount combines the words triangular account.
When one participant has paid another participant back, they can
go on the internet site and click on the "Balance" tag. From this
page, a
participant can just click on the payment that has just been
made (for example, "Jack sould pay Jennifer 10 euros"). If a mistake
has been made there
is a "cancel" button. It's also possible to
remove the payments in the group expense list.

device: close it on the device and/or synchronize with tricount.com 2. the tricount is available on the web but some information is missing:
contact us 3. the tricount does not exist anymore on tricount.com : contact us. When contacting us please provide us with basic information on your
tricount such as the names of the participants and the title. If you want more information on what happened and how we resolved the issue for the
future, please do not hesitate to contact us as well.

On Facebook, Tricount offers a centralized location to manage
group expenses amongst friends. You can directly add your friends to
the tricount
from Facebook and you will receive notifications when a
tricount has been updated.

When you are part of a tricount with Facebook, you will see in
your Facebook notifications (found on the bottom right corner of the
screen) a
notification from Tricount each time a tricount is
modified.

Deleting a tricount in Facebook will only delete it from your
list. The other participants will still be able to access the
tricount in their
list.
No, only your friends that are part of the tricount are notified
of the existence of this tricount. Tricount will not publish any
information on
your wall or in your profile.
Tricount does not save any personal data (friends, photos, etc.)
other than a link between your Facebook ID to a tricount participant.

When you add participants from Facebook, you have a choice
between friends "from Facebook", or for an "other friend". If the
person you would
like to add is in your Facebook list, we recommend
you choose "from Facebook". Your friend will receive an automatic
notification that you have added
him or her to the tricount, with an
access link.
Of course it is possible! You just need to check the option "an
other friend" when you are adding participants. Then you just need to
share the
access to the tricount by sharing the access link via email
or instant messenger with these friends.
All tricount participants are not necessarily Facebook users, or
your Facebook friends. When this is the case, you can send these
participants
the access link via email or instant messenger. Remember
that not everyone checks their Facebook accounts as often as their
e-mail!
When you use Tricount on your phone then you can be updating
your tricount offline anywhere, anytime. Afterwards, the tricount
will be shared
on
the Tricount website or via the Tricount Facebook
application.
On Android, make a long click over the expense or
tricount, and then confirm the deletion. On iOS, slide your finger from left to the
right over
the expense or tricount, and click the Delete button that appears.
No. Even if you remove the tricounts from your phone, you will
always be able to access the tricount via Internet.
Click on the "share" tab, upload the tricount on
tricount.com and share the link via email with the group. When you do that, you give your
friends the opportunity to understand, to validate and to correct the data.
